Father: Richard died at the siege of Little York, when the British Army, under Cornwallis, was taken by Gen Washington. Mother: Sally Florence of Va. GFather: John came from England with his brother Wm, in the first settling of Va. Siblings: John, Wm, George and Jeremiah 1st wife: Winnie Brooks died 1800 from spider bite 2nd wife: Rachel Leathers of Woodford Co. m 1801 Children: 1st -m- William Brooks, Thomas Benton, George F, Jeremiah, Susanah. 2nd -m- John and Benjamin. Ben and family settled in Bourbon Co Ky in May 1797, then bought land in Campbell Co. Ky (now Kenton). in 1808. There is no record of Benjamin being buried at cruise creek but according to records he was a member of Cruise Creek Church so I placed him here with the Northcutts.
