This couple was from Marlboro. Marlboro Vital records shows a marriage of Benjamin to Mary Rice Nov 15,1992. It also shows a death of Mary (Graves) Rice widow of Benjamin (and no other Mary Rice married to a Benjamin Rice). I think the marriage record is showing her married name rather than her maiden name.

His father was Deacon Edward Rice, b. 1622, and his mother was Agnes Bent, b. 1631. Benjamin Rice married Mary (Graves) Rice, b. 1669.

THIS IS INCORRECT Benj. Rice Married Mary Rice, dau. of Samuel Rice and Mary Dix.not Mary Graves based on basis of several researchers. They were cousins. Mary Camberlain Graves married Benjamin Rice. Note: 82 years 2 months // Source: Marlborough Transcriptions, Rice, 1908. Section I, Person #194

findagrave and the previous comment above are incorrect

This Benjamin's uncle, Benjamin Rice of Sudbury, son of Edmund, b. 1640, was married twice. His first wife was Mary Brown in 1661/2, before the Sudbury vital records document. His second wife was Mary Chamberlain Graves, widow of John Graves. This marriage shows in the Sudbury vital records "Benjamin and Mary Graves, Apr 1, 1691".
