Benjamin Roman Fernandez Bacosa

My father, Benjamin Roman Fernandez Bacosa is a military man. He served during WWII with the USAFFE with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant then rose to rank of full Colonel. He retired in the year 1969 with the rank of General in the Philippine Military Service.

During WWII, he accumulated several awards, plaques. In his military service, he was an outstanding military man having been sent to the USA twice to study in Georgia(1953), California(1963) by the Philippine government.

He served as a high officer in the intelligence and worked as a Professor in the National Defense College of the Philippines.

He died with full honor as a military man in the USA. He died as an American citizen.
