About Benjamin St. John, Sr

Benjamin St. John moved to New Canaan in 1744,

and he and his wife, Mary, were added to the N. C. Church, Oct. 7, 1744, by letter; they came with 4 sons and 4 daughters. After Mary died in New Canaan on Dec. 3, 1774, Benjamin married his 2nd wife Widow Elizabeth Everett, widow of Richard Everett. Marriage #2 occurred on March 9, 1775.
