About Bernard Joseph Kramer
KRAMER - Mr. Bernard Kramer, aged 75 of Byron Center, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 24, 1999, and went to be with his Lord. He served his country with the Navy during World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents Siert and Alice Kramer and brother Wilmer Kramer. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Clarabell; his children, Larry and Elsa Kramer, Pat and Mike Leatherman, Cindy and Bryan Roodvoets all of Caledonia; ten grandchildren; his brother and sisters, Rich and Gen Kramer of McBain, Ella and Al VanderSloot of Hudsonville, Sherlene and Jerry Schripsema of Bitley; father-in-law William and Louise Westra of FL; brother and sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Earl Crystal of Cascade, Maxine and Jay Schaaf of Wyoming, Eugene and Pat Westra of Caledonia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Heritage Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Dale Slings officiating. Interment Pinehill Cemetery with military honors performed by the Kent County Honor Guard. Visiting hours Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Byron Center Chapel of the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. Memorial contributions may be left to the American Heart Association
