MRS. BERTHA GOEMER

Mrs. Bertha Goemer was born on April 10, 1848, in Gross Spiegel in Pommerania, Germany. At the age of 27 she entered holy marriage with Frederick Goemer. This union was blessed with five children. Shortly after their marriage this couple emigrated to America, establishing their home in the vicinity of Arlington Heights. The family immediately united with the local Lutheran congregation and have been faithful members thru-out [sic] the years. For some years Mrs. Goemer has been ailing and on November 28, she was relieved of all suffering and entered her heavenly home. The funeral was conducted last Friday from the home and the church, Rev. C. M. Noack officiating.
