Services for Bertha E. Niven, late of Thomas and Prairie Avenue, Chicago, were held Wednesday afternoon, 22 June 1949, from Oehler's chapel Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee Street, Des Plaines, Illinois, IL 60016, United States 42.0421116, -87.8872538, with Rev. David Gibson of Chicago officiating. Interment was in Acacia.

Mrs. Niven was born Friday, 11 May 1900 in Chicago. She was a member of Arlington Heights chapter No. 992 Oes and of American Legion Auxiliary. She died Sunday, 19 June 1949 at her home.

She leaves her husband, John A. Niven; daughter, LaVerne Martino; grandson, Rudv Jr.: sister, Ila Mae Deck; and brother, William Rich.Niven.

It was erroneously stated in last week's paper that the late Bertha E. Niven was from Chicago. She resided at Thomas and Prairie Avenue, Arlington Heights.
