Bertha Mae Wagers

Bertha Mae Wagers, age 92, a resident of the Irvine, Kentucky, Nursing & Rehabilitation Center passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Center.

She was born April 9, 1922 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Owen Rawlins and Annie Neal Rawlins Brandenburg. She was a retired St. Joseph Hospital employee and attended the Revival Tabernacle in Lexington.

Mrs. Wagers was preceded in death by her husband, Herman “Buster” Wagers.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Pasley; and five brothers; Fred, Oliver, Cleve and Edgar Rawlins; and Beverly Brandenburg.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Glennis Sizemore. Burial was at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends called after 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Jerry Rawlins, Kelly Willoughby, Terry Horn, Jeff Fowler, Doug Miller, Mike Miller, Robbie Clark and Jay Rawlins.

Honorary pallbearer was Terry Rawlins.
