Bertran Metcalf, Jr.

Bert was funny, sarcastic, and loved music. I have many silly memories of the time he spent with us livening up the boring village of Bellows Falls, Vermont. His father was serious and strict, but Bert, Jr. was always doing something to make people laugh. Coming to dinner with a lampshade as a hat and a full face of impeccable make up, dancing to Rockin' Robin with my sister, waking me up at 1am to go for a walk around the sleeping town, belting out Kama Chamaleon, and making me laugh so hard I peed in the neighbor's bushes, was a normal day with young Bert.

I'm so sorry to learn he passed away young. He was a good guy. (Karrie)
