About Bessie Faulkner
Moberly Monitor-Index & Evening Democrat, Moberly, Missouri, Wednesday, September 25, 1974" Mrs. Bessie Faulkner, 81 of 517 Roberts, died early this morning at Woodland Hospital. She had been ill about three years. Mrs. Faulkner was born October 16, 1892, a daughter of Francis Marion and Musa Adalena (Caldwell) Pew. She had lived here about 50 years. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and former member of the Eastern Star. Her husband, James D. Faulkner, died in 1973. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Susie Hays, and two brothers, Hugh Pew and Cecil Alvie Pew, all of Vandalia; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday at the Million & Greer Chapel, with burial in the La Plata Cemetery in La Plata, Missouri.
