Wheeler ---Bessie M. Wheeler, 88, of 211 S. Sycamore St., died Friday evening at Marshall Manor following a lengthy illness. ---She was born Aug. 9, 1889 in Kendall County, Ill., a daughter of Frank and Emma (Hills) Seely. On Feb. 14, 1914 she was married to Clarence E. Wheeler in Yorkville, Ill. She moved to Eckford Township in 1918 and to Marshall in 1935. ---She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. ---Suviving[sic] are her husband; four sons, Allen H. Wheeler, Augusta, and Lloyd G. Wheeler, Donald W. Wheeler and Wayne F. Wheeler, all of Marshall; two daughters, Mrs. Ross (Ruth L.) Snyder, and Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) DeLaney, both of Marshall; 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. ---Services will be at 10:30 a.m Monday at the Court-Putnam Funeral Home with Mrs. William McKee, reader at the First Church of Christ Scientist, officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek.
