Born  August-C 1S97 in Casscounty she was the daughter of  Solomon and-Bessie (Dickerson) Rice. Following her marriage in 1928 to Murray-E. Fair, she  resided in Logansport; for.'-several years before establishing residence in the East.

Survivors include the husband M. e. fair, a daughter mrs. george Ogden Hamiton square New jersey, a son Warren E. fair Elizabeth, new jersey, five grandchildren; one sister, two nephews, her father Solomon rice and a brother Homer Rices both of rr 2 logansport.
