Betty Ruth Gobel, 65, of Richland View community, died Aug. 24, 1995, at Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 21, 1930, at Goshen, the daughter of A.A. "Hade" and Myrtie Branstetter Langham. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Gobel, on Nov. 4, 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church at Goshen.

Survivors include one son, Marvin Gobel of the Richland View community; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Marilyn) McCoy of Hindsville; two brothers, Calvin Langham of Goshen and Claude Langham of Fayetteville; two sisters, Virginia Boatright and Patsy Langham, both of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, at Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Farrell Ard officiating. Interment was in the National Cemetery.
