Betty Gruber

Betty Gruber was the wife of an employee of the Shoham Company in Haifa. She was a passenger on El Al Flight 402, which was shot down by two Bulgarian MiG-15 jet fighters and crashed near Petrich, Bulgaria, killing all passengers and crew aboard. She was coming to spend a two-month holiday with relatives in Tel Aviv. She was returning from Austria, where she was engaged in personal matters.
