Betty Jo Cushenberry

Mrs. Betty Jo Cushenberry, 79, of Franklin, entered into rest Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 1 p.m. at The Medical Center at Franklin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, where services were held this morning, with burial in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson County.

A native of Logan County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Conder Grow and Annie Bernice Alexander Grow.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Glenn Cushenberry; two sons, Joe Glenn Cushenberry and Barry Lynn Cushenberry, both of Franklin; a sister, Nancy Childress of Franklin; a niece, Julianna Jepson of Franklin; three grandchildren, Casey Joe, Eli and Jack Cushenberry; a great-nephew and two great-nieces.

Mrs. Cushenberry was a member of the Sulphur Spring Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Sulphur Spring Homemakers and past president and member of the Simpson County Homemakers.
