Betty Lee Thompson (nee van Stolk), daughter of Peter and Enid van Stolk, passed away in the early morning hours of Sept 29th, 2016, at the Campbell River Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Betty Lee was born in Prince Rupert and lived in Terrace for 17 years. Betty Lee lived a great life; she was happy in love with her husband, Grant Thompson, celebrating 50 years of marriage in April 2016. Betty Lee travelled to many places, living in Hawaii, Iowa, and Quadra Island. She was a happy, generous, sweet and loving person - loved by many. She will be sadly missed. Betty Lee is survived by her husband Grant Thompson, daughter Mia (Tavis), brothers Dan (Lea) and Pete (Doreen) van Stolk, the late Herb Frandle, sister Ivy Reynolds (Del), and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family would welcome donations to Ovarian Cancer Research.
