Bishop Nelson E. Miller

Bishop Nelson E. Miller 84, of Holmesville, formerly of Hartville, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011. He was born Feb. 24, 1927 in Hartville to Enos L. and Susie (Miller) Miller and married Amanda Schrock on Dec. 2, 1948. She survives. He was a member of the New Order Amish Church. Surviving are his wife, Amanda; three children, Ruth Miller of Holmesville, Jerry Miler of Hartville and Titus Miller of Dover; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Miller of Sugarcreek; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ada Schlabach of Hartville. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Lloyd Miller; a sister Ellen Yoder. Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Peniel Christian Fellowship, 9915 County Road 329, Shreve with Bishop Menno Miller officiating.
