Blanche Sully

Blanche Sully, dau. of Thomas Sully and Sarah (Annis) Sully, was born Aug. 13, 1814; died Apr. 30, 1898.

• 1870 census: Blanche Sully (45; b PA); in Philadelphia, Penn. w father Thomas Sully (86, b Eng?) and his step-grandchildren, children of step-daughter Mary Sully and John Neagle; they being Elizabeth Nagle (38, b PA), Garrett C. Nagle (36, b PA), Susan Nagle (30, b PA) and Mary Nagle (28, b PA). It appears that Blanche was quite good at shaving years from her age...Her father is an artist, and cousin Garrett works for Internal Revenue.
• 1898 death certif: Blanche Sully, aged 84, born Philadelphia, Pa 1814; died Apr. 30, 1898 in Philadelphia, Pa., buried Monday 5/2/1898 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Cause: Old age. Single.
