About Borghild Aanstad Decker Carlson
"Bobbie" survived Chicago's greatest loss-of-life tragedy -- the Eastland Disaster on July 24, 1915. 844 people lost their lives when the S. S. Eastland capsized into the Chicago River. Bobbie survived along with her mother Marianne, her sister Solveig, and her uncle Olaf Peder Mork.
She died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90.
