About Brenda Farmer

Brenda Fehr Farmer, 59, a 27-year resident of Langhorne Manor borough, died at home on Tuesday, February 15, 2005. She was born in Pen Argyl. A graduate of Bangor High School, she attended Slippery Rock State College. A well-known antiques dealer and longtime member of the Bucks County Antiques Dealers Association, her business was located at Stoudts Black Angus, Adamstown, for more than 20 years. She was a 27-year member of Langhorne Presbyterian Church, serving as an elder and singing with the choir and the contemporary worship team. She was deeply committed to Christian outreach, especially through the Alpha course. A speaker for Stonecroft Ministries, known locally as Christian Womens Club and Christian Business Womens Club, she spoke throughout the northeast portion of the United States and Canada. Brenda and her husband, Frank, have been friends of Philadelphia Biblical University, where she attended a Womens Bible Study for the past 16 years. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Francis J. Farmer. She was the daughter of the late Donald J. Fehr and is survived by her mother, Elinor R. Fehr, of Bangor.

Survivors: Husband; mother; children, daughter Danae Berggren of Clearfield and son Scott Cochrane of Langhorne; stepson, James Farmer of Sewell, N.J.; three grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Bill Alfred. She was predeceased by her son, Eric Cochrane, and a stepdaughter, Beth Simpkins.

Services: A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 19, at 10 a.m. in Langhorne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Gillam Ave., Langhorne. Call 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday in the church.

Interment in Beech Cemetery is private. Arrangements, Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, Langhorne.

Contributions: Langhorne Presbyterian Church for stained glass repair or Pulmonary Fibrosis research through the American Lung Association or Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
