Brian Cavanaugh, of Borris

BRIAN KAVANAGH, of Borris; born 1595; died 1662; married 1st, Elinor, daughter of Sir Thomas Colclough, Knt., of Tintern Abbey, by whom he had issue, two daughters.

He married 2nd, Elinor, daughter of Sir Edward Blancheville, Knt., of Blanchevillestown, Co Killkenny, and had further issue,

• 1a MORGAN, his heir.
• 3a Elizabeth; married Hon John Fitzpatrick, s of Brian, 6th Lord Upper Ossory.
• 4a Alice.
• 5a Mary; married Charles Kavanagh, of Carrickduff, 2nd son of Sir Morgan Cavanagh, of Clonmullen

Mr. Kavanagh died 1 Dec 1662, and was s by His son, Morgan
