In.the name of God amen I Bridgett Evans of Rhyd-y-Carw in the parish of trefeglwys and county of Montgomery being sicke in body but of a sane and sound memory all.thanks
And praise unto Almightie God for the samr twentieth day of June in thr year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and fiftie Doe make this my testament mentioning my last will there forever in
Impriminus I commended my soule unto the hands of my Redeemer whose by merrits alone I trust I shall be saved
And my body to.the earth from which it came to be intermed in a Christian buriall as shall be best to my executor
Item I give and bequeath to my son.Edward Evans that parcel of land from Thomas Turner lyeing amongst his lands at Cwmgwernog.in.as full and ample manner as I formerly held it
I give and devise to my sonne George Evans fiftie pounds and one of my trunks
I give and devise to my grandsonne Edward Evans one silver canne. To my grandchild Morgan one silver spoon.,to my grandchild Dorothy my other trunks with clothing therei
Item.i give and bequeath to my sister Martha Morris towards discharging the. Twentie.pounds debt due to me from.William Herbert my brother in.law. likewise a feather bedd One Coverlett Boulster pillows a paire of Blankets a paire of sheets one peece of Woolen cloathe of twenty foure yards for curtains a peece of flaxon Cloathe of twelve yards and an.old green carpet with all.my pewter
Item.i give and bequeath unto my honorable lady Ursula Lloyd twenty shillings
And to my dear mother twenty shillings
To my nephew and Godson Edward Lloyd ten shillings to buy rings for each of them
I leave and bequeath to my daughter in law Dorothy Evans my safeguard and Sadler clothe
I leave and bequeath to Hugh Pugh vicar of Trefeglwys twenty shillings
Lastly i ordained. Constitute and appoint.my eldest sonne Edward Evans to be my sole executor of this my last will and testament and it is my will and desire that my brother
Sir Edward Lloid be the overseer of this will and that all the gifts and legacies br discharged and paid at or upon the Feast Of Luke the evangelist next ensureing the day of the date therfore.
