Måns Knutsson, (son of Knut Knutsson, table 8), to Ribbenäs in Västra Sund parish, Värmland county and Blomberg in Husaby parish, Skaraborg county. Sealed the Västerås inheritance association 1544-01-13, King Gustaf I's will 1560-06-30 and the estates' grant in 1561. Changed to (Hs.) Blomberg et al the homestead in Husaby parish 1558-07-22 and was then called Måns Knutsson to Ribbenäs . Lived in 1568 and then still wrote to Blomberg. (Fs.) The Riddarhus genealogy states, probably wrongly, that he, who in 1561 and 1568 wrote to Blomberg and should then have been between 70 and 80 years old, is identical to Måns Knutsson to Aspberg in Segerstad parish, Värmland county, who was tithe bailiff in Värmland 1561–1567 and also bailiff in Östersysslet 1562–1570 (Al.), in the castle law at Läckö 1567-02-10, bailiff at Örebro castle 1571–1578 (Al.) and who was still alive in 1581 (Al.), and who was the brother-in-law of Botvid Larsson Anckar.

• Married (2:) in 1569 to Margareta Botvidsdotter, daughter of the commander Botvid Larsson (Anckar, no. 108) and Karin Svensdotter Kart.

• Nils Månsson Roos af Hjelmsäter, till Brosäter, Son of Måns Knutsson Roos, af Hjelmsäter and Christina Gregersdotter Married Marette Persdotter to Dyngevik, his wife was a Large landowner in Värmland and Dalsland. She inherited salvation property in Steneby parish on Dal after her mother Karin Andersdotter. After the death of her father Per Larsson's "Little Per", she also inherited the farm estate Bro in Värmland, where she and her husband Nils Månsson Roos are believed to have lived from 1579. After the death of her husband in 1603, Margareta ruled and placed her own domains alone. Only in Steneby under the Dingelvik farm she had 12 saviors. It was not only in Steneby that she owned properties. According to a protocol from 1619, she owned the entire Sund's farm in the parish of Nössemarks on Dal as well as several salvation homes in Värmland. Margareta Persdotter died childless in Bro around 1629 and as the closest heir, Elin Jacobsdotter her sister of rider champion Lennart Persson Svenske. According to a protocol from 1619, the entire Sunds farm was owned by Margareta Pedersdotter on Bro. She was probably married to a Pär Nilsson in Bro. He then owned Bro's farm and several other homes in Värmland. Already in this quote I see an error. Margareta was not married to Pär Nilsson but to Nils Månsson Roos. In addition, Margareta died childless and had no breast wings. Don’t know why he was dropped from Adelsvapen Geneolgy from being a son of Måns Knutsson (Roos af Hjelmsäter) and Christina Gregorsdotter .
• Ingrid Månsdotter, Married to the horseman at Upplandsfanan (Blr.) Joen Andersson , ennobled Torskenstierna , but not introduced, to Hallsta in Björksta parish, Västmanland county, probably died in 1569. (Blr.)
• Bengta Månsdotter, Married to the underling and war colonel Peder Nilsson , knighted Gyllenstråle (no. 256), who lived in 1587.

Married 2nd after 1595, but before (SK.) 1601-01-20 to the rich mountain man Christoffer Olsson , knighted Gyllenknoster 1621-01-30, but not introduced, in Nor, in his 2nd marriage.
• Bryngel Månsson, Bailiff at Västerås Castle 1597 (1597-02-09)–1602 (Al.). According to royal letter 1594-05-04, he had in fief a church home in St. Ilian's parish, Västmanland County, which he used himself in 1599. (Al.)
• Anders Månsson, died young.
