Bruce Allen Burleson (B.J.) was born February 27, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas. He passed away on July 21, 2017 at the age of 38. B.J. graduated from William Howard Taft High School in 1998. He had a great love for hot rods, sports cars, custom cars, motorcycles and automotive painting. B.J. had a positive impact on everyone he touched. He was a meat market manager for H.E.B. Grocery Co. He is survived by the love of his life, Kim Rodriguez; sons, David Rodriguez and wife Rebecca and Eric Rodriguez; grandchildren, David Ze Rodriguez, Ezra Rodriguez and Blake Rodriguez; Kim's mother, Linda Fiala; mom and dad, Acelia Kay (C.K.) and Wes Bendele; father, Bruce Burleson; sister, Ashley Jencks and husband Chris Jencks; niece, Cori Jencks; brother, Brad Bendele; grandparents, Dee and Darrell Wright; aunt, Madeline Bunn; uncle, Charlie Wright; cousins, Mandy, Jake and Parker Wright and several more cousins in San Antonio, Texas and Ames, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2017, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
