About Bryson O'Neal Brandenburger

Bryson O’Neal Brandenburger, age18, of Bowling Green, MO passed away suddenly May 17, 2024, in Frankford, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes & Crematory in Bowling Green, with Bryson’s Uncle Dan Peters officiating. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Bryson was born November 1, 2005, in Lake St. Louis, the son of Brian Brandenburger and Breezy Kirkpatrick Brandenburger.

Bryson grew up and lived in Bowling Green. As a child, his love for the outdoors was obvious. He was often found hunting and fishing, working cows and horses. Growing up playing sports, Bryson enjoyed basketball and baseball, until he found his passion for football. As a linebacker for the Bowling Green Bobcats, and member of the Bowling Green High School class of 2024, Bryson received many awards for his football skills, earning him a spot on the EMO All Conference and All State Teams, as well as the EMO Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Along with playing football, Bryson was a member of the FFA and attended Pike-Lincoln Vo-Tech School where he received numerous awards.

Bryson was never afraid to work. He helped MT Lawn Care and worked for Eastern Missouri Commission Company at the Sale Barn in Bowling Green. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding around, spending time with friends and his girlfriend. He was known to be a loving kid that loved life, and always was willing to do what others wanted to do in order to be around people that he loved.

Left to share his memories are his parents Breezy Brandenburger of Bowling Green, and Brian Brandenburger (Lauren) of Frankford; siblings Brogan Brandenburger, Harrison Hunt, Anderson Hunt, and Collyns Brandenburger; grandparents Harold (Paula) Tolar and Mike (Donna) Colbert; girlfriend Kaylyn Charlton; aunts, uncles and extended family members.

Bryson was preceded in death by his grandparents Larry and Wanda Brandenburger, and Charles “Spike” Kirkpatrick.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bleyne Bryant, Walker Chandler, Neil Raney, Elijah Henningfield, Kade Ligon, Eli Grote, Drew Dalton, and McCoy Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to start a Blue-Collar Scholarship in Memory of Bryson.
