Buddy Lee Burleson

Buddy Lee Burleson, 60, of Hackleburg, Ala., died Nov. 15, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss. He was a logger and was born in Marion County to Jack Burleson and Elcie Mitchell. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Hamilton Funeral Home chapel, with James Yielding officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Malissa Dupree Burleson; children, Michael Burleson, Ilah Staggs, Julie Glover; the mother of his children, Carol Burleson Burns; mother, Elcie Burleson; sisters, Linda Loveless, Frankie Mobley; grandchildren, Justin Burleson, Joshua Burleson, Jessica Burleson, Jerrod Staggs, Maiken Staggs, Catlin Staggs, Hunter Staggs, Brooke Carmack, Trenton Glover; and seven stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Burleson, and his brother, Tommy Burleson.
