HAMILTON - BURTON C PETRE, 80, of Hamilton died Sunday Sept 3, 2006 at Lakeland Nursing Center Angola.
Mr Petre was born July 21, 1926 in Steuben County to Christopher and Hannah (Beebe) Petre. He was married to Louise Deelee Petre on Aug 6, 1970, and she preceded him in death.
He was a supervisor at Modenaire Corp in Waterloo retiring in 1989.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law; three daughters and two sons-in-law; three sisters; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Basil Petre; and four sisters, Rose Grady, Pat Coffey, Nellie Winebrenner and Kathyryn Alleshouse.
Services will be at 11 am Thursday at Weicht Funeral Home Angola with the Rev Jim Hulbert officiating. Calling will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. Burial will be in South Scott Cemetery, Steuben County.
