OBITUARY: C. Thomas Sands C. Thomas Sands, 77, of 225 S. Hubbards Lane, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday at Twinbrook Nursing Home. He was a native of Grayson County, Kentucky, and was former owner of Sands Realty Co. He was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, the Sunset Masonic Lodge No. 915, and the Downtown High Twelve Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Kathleen Tucker, three daughters, Mrs. Miller Tate of Custer, Ky, Mrs. Paul Giltner of New Washington, Indiana, and Miss Janet Sands; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville, Road, with cremation to follow.
