About Cacilie (Zizilia) (Kella) (Eleanore) Wehle

Kella Fischel was born on 10 November 1784, and was named in honor of her maternal grandmother, Kella (Lucka) Zerkowitz. Kella Zerkowitz was still alive at the time, but on her deathbed. She died three weeks later, on 2 December 1784, at age about 37.

According to the 1787 census, Kella Fischel was known as "Cicilia". When she married Salomon Isaac Wehl in 1805, she was "Cacilia Fischel". However, she is seen as "Eleanore" in the birth records of her seven eldest children, listed as "Cacilie" in only the birth record of her eighth and youngest daughter, Francizka (b. 1 May 1818). When she died one month later (11 June 1818, age 33), her death record calls her "Zizilia, wife of Salomon Wehle".
