Caleb Dodd Baldwin

Caleb Dodd Baldwin, son of Ichabod Baldwin and Joanna Dodd (cousins), was b. in Bloomfield, New Jersey, on June 15,1795; d. there, Feb. 4,1868; m. May,1831, with SUSAN M. MOORE, dau. Loanini Moore and Huldah Byram; she is said to be, through her mother, a lineal descendant of John Alden, of the "Mayflower." He served in the War of 1812, at Sandy Hook.

Children were: Josephine Waldo (1832), Frank H. (1834), Sarah Elizabeth (1836), Henry Moore (1840), and Frederick Augustus Rauch (1842).

NOTE: Date of birth for Frederick has been modified to 1842 per data from 1850 US census since it is impossible for he and brother Henry to have been born the same year; 2 months apart. Also, age for Caleb is cited as 53; but looks more like 55 to me for 1850 census).
