Caleb Embree Cemetery Monroe County Missouri
. Caleb Embree was born in Virginia (8/7/1776) and at an early age was brought to Kentucky with his parents. He is listed on tax lists in Clark Co. KY. and in the 1810 U.S. Census. Her parents were married in Orange Co. VA. (12/12/1778). Sarah's grandparents were Thomas Burris Sr. and his wife Sarah Montague of Orange Co. VA. Sarah Burris was 1st cousin to Elizabeth Duncan the wife of Caleb's brother Thomas Embree, also of Monroe Co. MO through th Stevens family. Caleb and Sarah's gravestones are located on Fleming Farm S.W. of Evansville MO.
