Caleb Lindsey, Sr.

1. Caleb Lindsey was born 1670 in Scotland, and died 1717 in Essex, Virginia. He was the son of 2. James Lindsey and 3. Fnu Lnu. He married Clara Daniel 1663/1685 in Scotland. She was born ABT 1674, and died ABT 1724.

2. James Lindsey b: ABT 1687
3. Elizabeth Lindsey b: ABT 1689
4. James William Lindsey , Sr b: ABT 1700 in Essex County, Virginia

Caleb Lindsay settled a home on the Rappahannock River in Essex, now Caroline County, but died in St. Mary's parish in Gloucester County in 1712. His wife was a Miss Clara. He left two sons, Joshua, b. 1698 and James, b. 1700. (note the difference in the death dates of 1712 and 1717-18.)
