Caleb Stratton

Caleb, the son of William Stretton, was baptised on 10 May 1635 in St Leonard, Eastcheap, City of London, London, England.[1]

He married Mary Adams, daughter of Alexander Adams (1615-1677) and Mary (Coffin) Adams (abt.1619-1664).

Caleb Stratton was living when father-in-law's estate was divided in 1684 and he inherited his father-in-law's homestead; his widow died in 1698.

1. Elizabeth, m. 1. William Jarvis, 2. Solomon Townsend. Died 1713, Buried in Copps Hill.
2. John, no issue, did not inherit, b. 1670 in Hingham
3. Samuel, no issue, did not inherit, b. 1675 in Boston
4. William, Born 16 Feb 1680 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Married Susannah Cartwright.

In a 1703 Boston deed, William was called "only son" of Caleb, so his brothers must have died young or before that date.
