Candace's daughters married as follows:
- Polly Sherman md. Isriel Gruin 26 April 1814 at Barre. Later married Cyril Green.
- Lucy Adams md. Lewis Peck 6 December 1818 at Barre.
- Candace Adams md. Dr. Benjamin Palmer 6 January 1824 at Bloomfield, Trumbull, Ohio.
- Sally Adams, unmarried. (aka as Sally Bushnell)
Candace remained a widow for 25 years after Job's death at 39 years old.
She moved to Bloomfield, Trumbull, Ohio with her oldest daughter & 2 youngest daughters. On 8 May 1829, she married a prominent Trumbull County widower, her second husband, Colonel William Bushnell at Lyme, New London, Connecticut.
He lived until age 83 and she until 90.
