Clement Jackson was born about 1675. He was the son of John Jackson and Sarah Palmer. He passed away in 1708.
In August 1679 John Jackson arrived in Boston from Dartmouth, England, on the Hannah & Elizabeth, Capt. Lot Gordon, commander, with his wife, son Clement, two daughters, Sarah and Agnes, and his sister-in Law, Joan (Palmer) Deering, widow of Roger Deering.
His wife Sarah was the dau. of Joseph and Elizabeth (Smith) Hall of Greenland, New Hampshire, and granddaughter of Sgt. John Hall of Dover and Greenland, one of the signers of the Dover Combination of 1640.
She m2. aft. 1717 Joseph Hubbard of Boston. She was living in Boston in 1738.
Their children:
- i. Mary,: b. 18 May 1703; d. 17 Aug. 1704.
- ii. JOHN, b. 20 Aug. 1704; d. 30 June 1713. It may be that he was lost on one of his vessels.
- iii. DR. CLEMENT, b. 24 Mar. 1705/6.
- iv. Col. Joseph, b. 13 Dec. 1707.
