George Calvert was born about 1712 to John Calvert. He married Ann Crupper in about 1739. Children: John Calvert, 1742-1790; George Calvert, 1744-1821; Lydia Calvert, 1748-1820; Sarah Calvert, 1749-1825; Anne Calvert, 1751-1822; William Calvert, 1757-1834; Jane Calvert, 1746-1830. He died in 19 May 1782 in Culpeper, Virginia.

He served in the Militia: "To the Militia of the County of Prince-William, viz. To George Calvert, junior, for an express", 6s. 8d. [Hennings' Statutes at Large v. 7 p. 25], March 1756
