27 March 1623: Instrument of sasine in favour of Grizel Echlin of rood of land in burgh of Inverkeithing on east side of high street between lands of deceased Alexander, Earl of Dunfermline (Dunfermlin) on the north, lands of William Brown on the south, and lands of Hillfield (Hilfeild) on the west, following on obligation by Henry Echlin, grandson of deceased Henry Echlin of Pittadro, now a soldier in Flanders, and brother of said Grizel, with consent of Margaret Henryson, his mother.
