Adjutant 27th North Carolina Infantry from January 13th 1862 to June 1st 1862: on attached service 10 days from November 10th to procure clothing for Regiment.
Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant Sr. December 5th, 1862.
Acting Ordinance officer Cooke's Brigade from November 29th, 1862 to December 12, 1862.
Sent to Richmond, Virginia sick December 12th 1862. >Returned to duty December 19th, 1862.
