About Capt. John Tracy
Capt. John Tracy, who married Mary Winslow, was the oldest son of Lt. Thomas Tracy, the pioneer. He was born in 1642; went to Norwich with the first settlers, and there died, 1702. Mary Winslow his wife, "a stately and beautiful woman," was the daughter of Hon. Josiah Winslow, brother to Gov. Winslow of Plymouth.
