About Capt. Levi Morse, Jr.
This Levi was NOT a Revolutionary War pensioner 1831-1848 for service as a private; that's another earlier un-related Levi Morse who lived in Douglas MA. (This previous suggestion that THIS Levi was in Rev. War is incorrect)
This Levi was in a light infantry company in Midddleboro as a Captain from Sept. 27, 1834 until 1837 . This company was raised in 1818 and was disbanded Sept. 25, 1858. (This info from History of Middleboro pg 202)
