Will:
===
Richard Rogers' will was not duplicated in the book.
Children:
Jane Rodgers, b. 12 Apr 1686, Recorded St Stephens Parish.
Richard, b. abt 1688-90
John, b. Abt 1693, Probably named for a deceased son of the same name.
Hannah, b. abt 1695
His children, Richard, John & Hannah were named on 20 May 1703, when a commission of administration was granted to Christopher Neale and Jane, his wife on the estate of Richard Rogers. (S: Jane Presley Rogers remarried shortly after Richard's death)
None of the children listed as christened in St Stephens Parish records, as the children of Richard Rogers, were named in his will. They must have been born to a first wife, for Jane would have been too young. (S: Perhaps they had their inheritance before his Will. This was common, though many recorded all children's names without mention of a bequest.)
