Comment February 2017
... all of the research and records I have says that Robert and the Badcocks were not from Wivenhoe, that a visit to Wivenhoe found no Badcocks or Babcocks in Parish Records and their original origins are unknown. It also states that Robert was the was the son of David Badcock, who was in Dorchester Massachusetts in 1640 and his wife Mary. It also shows that Robert was also likely the father of George Badcock, James Badcock and Margaret Badcock Leland.”
