About Capt. Sir Beverley Newcomen, 2nd Bt.
Sir Beverley Newcomen, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Newcomen, 1st Bt. and Catherine Molyneux.1 He married Margaret Ussher, daughter of Sir William Ussher and Isabella Loftus.2 He died on 28 April 1637 at Passage, County Waterford, Ireland, drowned.1. He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Newcomen.
1 Sir Beverley Newcomen, Bart., Capt., R.N., (drowned at Passage, near Waterford, while in command of the "Swallow," Man-of-War, 13th Aug., 1645), m. 28th of April, 1637, Margaret, dau. of Sir William Usher, Kt., and had issue, one s. and one dau.:—
- Arthur Newcomen, drowned with his father.
- Katharine Newcomen, m. Richard, eldest s. of Sir William Parsons
