He d. 22 Dec. 1721 at Virginia during a coasting voyage in his sloop "Vineyard". His est. was divided 15 Oct. 1725. [His gravestone can be found at Crossways Cemetery.] The wid. m. (2) THOMAS CATHCART (10) 15 May 1724.
