Thomas was born to Seth and Deborah Perry Pope. He was married to Elizabeth Manser (or Mansur) in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, on Dec. 7, 1687 by Thomas Graves. He is shown as a mariner in the marriage record.

Thomas was born to Seth and Deborah (Perry) Pope and was the grandson of English immigrants, Thomas and Sarah (Jenny) Pope. He was married to Elizabeth Manser/Mansur in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, on Dec. 7, 1687, by Thomas Graves. He died on March 6, 1710/1711.

He is shown as a mariner in the marriage record. He was the Master of the sloop, "Hopewell", sailing between Boston and Connecticut. It was partly owned by his father, Seth Pope, and was based in Dartmouth. Ref: "A History of the Dorchester Pope Family", Charles Henry Pope, published by author, Boston, Mass, 1888.
