DANIEL PAINE was born on February 22, 1702/3. He married Leah Smith (1710-1790), the daughter of Nathaniel Smith on Nov. 4, 1729 and she bore him seven children. Daniel died at Woodstock, Connecticut, on June 22, 1795 at about 92 years.{source: www.mossbay.com/paine} Some sources show a second wife named Abigail Bartholomew Frissel but that is unlikely since his father's second wife had that name.
