Donald Robertson, Tutor of Struan.
He had a grant of the lands of Auchinroy on 5 February, 1630, in which he is styled as second son to his father and which he disponed to Alexander Robertson, son of the deceased Alexander Robertson of Tennandrie on 12 March, 1642. He was appointed Tutor to his nephew Alexander Robertson of Struan and m. by 6 December, 1649, Beatrix, daughter of Patrick Graham, 3rd of Inchbraikie, (she was widow of Alexander Robertson of Lude, whom she had m. by c/m 20 July, 1615, and by whom she had issue), when he granted a Bond for 380 merks to Alexander Robertson of Lude, his stepson. He apparently dsp as the Struan estate in later years passed to the male descendants of his immediate younger brother Duncan Robertson, of Drumachuine.

Donald Robertson was the son of Robert Robertson of Straun and Agnes Macdonald.2 He married Beatrix (?).1 He died, without issue.1
He was royalist Civil on, raised a fighting force of 800 men, mostly from his own Clan, and led them with distinguished bravery in all the battles of Montrose, Colonel 1645, granted a pension at the Restoration as compensation for his earlier losses in s War 1644.1 Tutor of Struan during the minority of his n Alexander, 12th Chief.1 In 1952 dau of Patrick Graeme, 3rd of Inchbrakie (see BLG ).1
