THE HISTORY OF CAPTAIN JAMES FATHER ARCHIBALD DUNLOP:
Archibald Dunlope was baptized 21 Nov 1672. He was known to make at least two voyages to America before 1701. He wrote that he went once to Boston on one trip and to New York on another where he written his brother describing in detail some of his transactions. There is no other Archibald to take the place of him during his timeline which match's to his birth certificate in Scotland nor to the facts of his life where he is on record as officially immigrated to New York, Colonial North America in 1700, Archibald Dunlop's Immigration Record of 1700. (see snapshot immigration record & Directory of Scottish settlers to North America recording of only one Archibald Dunlop documented as the son of James along with Brother John on the same page 71, Vol 1 in source tab) He being the one and only recorded Archibald Dunlop immigrating & living in North America before 1713 Directory of Scottish Settlers Report, p. 71 also provided in source tab).
Per his mother Mary Beach's will, she bequeathed him a 1/3 of White Hills Estate provided that he lives coming back from his trip to Great Brittan. Also she bequeathed him one asset of his fathers but, I can't make out what it is exactly, "I give him his fathers great Ch__________.

Family
From A History of the Old Town of Stratford and the City of Bridgeport ..., Part 2. By Samuel Orcutt. Page 1195. in which also shows his profession of being a Captain and a merchant per his will. He owned around 72 Acres of land with a house and barn called White Hills Estate, passed down to him via his mother and father. He made cyder and owned beer barrels and vast sums of packaging along with Wheat and 250lbs of flax, seals & weights and many bottles. He owned about 8 or 9 slaves. With his vast amount of creditors at his young and untimely death, it could be assumed that he may have partook in trading practices in which his town was known for.
