He patented 243 acres in the upper part of New Kent County. This land formerly granted to Capt. Edmund Bacon, Oct. 21, 1687, and by him deserted and since granted to John Bacon by order of the General Court on October 1701, and further due unto John Bacon for the importation of six persons.
Patent 1600 acres in Henrico Co. on 4/23/1681.
John Bacon pays 172 lbs. tobacco for the taking of his runaway negro man, Peter. 11/28/1740.
John Bacon's deed to his son Nathaniel is proved by witnesses, 10/4/1742. He married Susannah Parke, daughter of John Parke on 7/4/1710.
