Captain Joseph Archibald Bell, Sr.

When Capt. Joseph Archibald Bell was born on august 3, 1717, in Chatham, Pittsylvania, VA. his father, Robert Bell I, was 42 years and his mother, Isabelle Ann Woodnot, was 35. He married
Mary Fort Bynum in 1745, in Chatham, North Carolina,. They were parents of 10 sons, and 8 daughters. He died on September 3, 1792 and was buried in Augusta Stone Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Fort Defiance, Auigusta, Virginia.
